Renders are for printable materials, and are kept simple by request. Rendered in 3DS with the new Mental Ray A+D materials. We have come full circle.... the first project I created for Adobe nearly 3 years ago was a turbine, it has been so well received that they decided it was time for an update. Original was created in 3DS.
I am fortunate enough to be testing some theories Jeff Patton has been working on for his upcoming Mental Ray training videos. Overall lighting set-up was established in literally minutes, and produced fantastic results. At any rate, Jeff has truly done some great research-- I hope my work reflects positively on his efforts!

Jekyll And Hyde Motorcycle Concept

The concept is original, based on things I have seen, and things I would like to see. The idea is to make a bike that appeals to both sport bike enthusiasts, and Harley/cruiser riders alike. I am calling it Jekyll and Hyde because of this idea of dual appeal, and because with all of the drive/brake components kept on 1 side of the bike, the 2 sides have a very different appearance.
Single sided rear section, and a single sided Ohlins racing fork(never seen it, but they now use single sided forks on some mountain bikes so why not go with it)
Wheels, brakes are racing parts found on high end sport bikes.
Engine is a V-rod revolution motor
Carbon fiber gas tank
Polymodeled in Max, rendered in Mental Ray
